Our 15-million-euro industrial investment plan for the Hésingue site is making progress!
On May 7th, 2021, we placed an order for our new 1600 m2 test and assembly building with ITECO.
“We chose to move forward with ITECO, a local company, because of their high-quality service offer and their impressive proposal, which reflects our desire to build a responsible, eco-friendly, energy efficient industrial building. ITECO worked with their engineering company OTE and DRLW (architectural firm) to come up with a plan that took these elements into account in their construction choices for the building,” explained Didier, Cryostar’s Director of IT and Industrial Infrastructures.
The building will include a green roof, solar panels, and a geothermal heating system, which will draw heat from the water table up to 20 meters underground.
The building will be ready by the end of summer 2022, at which point we will be able to start moving our equipment into place. Testing will begin in late 2022 or early 2023
This investment is proof of Cryostar’s confidence in the future and our opportunities for development. It will enable us to continue to grow by reinforcing our strengths, our flexibility and agility, and thereby boost client satisfaction in terms of quality and on-time deliveries.
