It’s a first! We are currently assembling the largest turbine Cryostar has ever made. The turbine, which has a nominal power of 4.5 MW, is connected to a generator and includes a 900 mm diameter wheel (TG 900 model.)

Prior to this, Cryostar’s largest turbine was an expansion turbine producing 13 MW, with an 800 mm diameter wheel. This turbine was installed in Turkey more than four years ago.

We are looking forward to beating our own record when we get the TG900 up and running for our client. The on-site installation is planned in 2021!
